MacTake Introduction (Thought I'd Better)★
I realized that I've done poorly at introductions. MacTake is designed to be my 'take' on all things Macintosh, ( Apple ).I never really was a 'dear diary' sort of person, so aside from a few glances of personal happenings this blog will focus mostly on current Apple News, Podcasts and Blogs I love, Tips & Tricks for Mac OSX Tiger and a responsible amount of rumoring and musing.
I'm essentially doing whats been done already on podcasts and blogs already out there but its important to remember that, so are they. In my humble 'take' on matters, the more bloggers and podcasters sharing tips & tricks for Mac OSX, the easier help is to find when you're stuck looking for how to record skype calls etc.
So a bit of back story:
Born in Australia, now living for a while in the UK ( You wondered, didn't you).
Don't worry fellow countrymen, the only passport I have is an Australian one.
I am a 'switcher' to Macs, since.. a long time ago.
I used to get A4 pads of paper and write in big letters on them things like "Get A Mac", and hold them up during physics. Luckily now, I've got tired of that style of evangelism.
I work daily with dreamweaver, php, photoshop and good old Mail.app. Employed by Dunhenry Solutions and right now involved in deploying technology we've named streamK on a few client websites.
Yes streamK is my pride and joy, my little php descendant, although I did work closely with colleague Gary Scutter on, well, most of it.
And thats probably as much personal information as I can force my insensitive self to regurgitate.
